Cooking areas and sensors

The appliance has 2 cooking areas. Both
cooking areas can be divided into 2 sepa-
rate cooking zones. A sensor in the sensor
field (7) is assigned to each cooking area and
cooking area section.
Always activate the sensors with your
entire fingertip and not just the very
end of the finger. Your finger and the sen-
sors must be clean and dry for the sensors
to function properly. The sensors may not be
covered by objects.
Each time the sensor registers a touch, you
will hear an acoustic signal.

Pot recognition

Pot recognition is installed in the cooking ar-
eas. Pot recognition ensures that the cooking
area will be activated only if there is a pot with
a ferromagnetic base or another object made
of the same kind of metal located there. The
cooking area becomes inactive as soon as
the pot or the magnetic object is removed.
