Before commencing work: allow the system and measuring device to cool down to a
touchable temperature.
If the measuring device is removed with the cables, make sure that the cables allow
sufficient room for the measuring device to be removed.

Ensure that the safety chain is properly hooked into the hot tap and sensor
fastening points and is taut.

t-mass 500-digital: Hold the
sensor steady by hand. It must be
ensured that the sensor is not
able to accelerate to dangerously
high exit speeds.

t-mass 300: Open the coupling
nut slowly until the sensor can be
moved easily by hand.  A small
amount of gas can escape when
the coupling nut is opened.

t-mass 300: Hold the sensor
