Special safety instructions for low pressure version

• The use of the retractable assembly is not permitted for metal clamping rings!
• Before introducing or removing the t-mass I 300, 500-digital: make sure that the process
pressure is less than or equal to 4.5 barg (65 psi).
• When operating at continuous operating pressure: make sure that the safety chain is
always properly hooked into the hot tap and sensor fastening points and is taut.
• When removing the t-mass I 300, 500-digital: before you release the sensor fastener, it is
essential to ensure that the safety chain is properly hooked into the hot tap and sensor
fastening points and is taut.
• When installing the weld-in nipples, always comply with the safety and mounting
instructions in the Operating Instructions.
• Check the weld seams and threaded joints for leaks.
• NPT/BSP pipe thread: use suitable sealing material.
• If threads on parts of the mounting set are damaged or defective, the parts must be repaired
or the defective parts must be replaced if necessary.
• The hot tap (retractable assembly) may only be used with safe substances in accordance
with European Directive 67/548/EEC Art. 2.
