Special safety instructions

Risk of injury!
The sensor can accelerate to high speeds. If the sensor is exposed to the full process pressure,
strong internal forces act on the sensor. The following measures must be taken:
‣
Make sure that the process pressure does not exceed 4.5 barg (65psi).
‣
Hold the sensor firmly by hand and open the coupling slowly. It must be ensured that the
sensor is not able to accelerate to dangerously high exit speeds.
‣
The size of the force should be such that it is possible to position the sensor at the correct
insertion depth by hand.

Burn hazard.

Before commencing work: allow the system and measuring device to cool down to a
touchable temperature.
8.7 Insert the measuring device to the calculated insertion depth
and align it
