9. TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
The machine does not turn on.
The tap leaks (liquid leaks from below).
The tap leaks (liquid leaks from above).
Product leaks from the rear part of the
bowl.
The auger does not turn
The machine does not make granita.
The auger is noisy.
The thermometer does not indicate the
temperature
The lighted lid does not work
The tap does not dispense
If the machine malfunctions due to causes other than those listed in this table or the proposed remedies do not solve the problem, contact a specialized
technician.

Cause
The main switch is off (positioned on "O"). (Cap.6)
The machine is not plugged in.
The tap plug is not lubricated. (Fig.65)
The plug is defective.
The OR is defective.
The OR is not lubricated.(Fig.65)
The bowl is not fi t correctly in place . (Par.7.5)
The bowl seal is not lubricated. (Fig.60)
The seal is defective.
The switch is positioned on "O". (Cap.6)
Blocks of ice inside the bowl.
The switches are off. (Cap.6)
The machine is near sources of heat.
There is insuffi cient ventilation.
The condenser is dirty. (Par.7.10.)
The consistency has not been regulated correctly. (Par.6.6) Correctly regulate the consistency.
The front seal has been applied incorrectly. (Fig.57)
The seal is not lubricated. (Fig.60)
The battery has run out
Probe fault
It is not plugged in properly
The switch is on "O"

Blocks of ice inside the bowl.
Remedy
Press the switch into position "I".
Insert the plug in a suitable outlet.
Lubricate the plug and OR.
Replace the plug.
Replace the OR.
Lubricate the plug and OR.
Check the positioning of the bowl.
Lubricate accordingly.
Replace the seal.
Press the switch into position "I".
Switch off the machine, allow the bowl contents to
melt and check that the product has been correctly
diluted.
Press the switch into position "I".
Install the machine in a suitable place.
Call in a specialized technician to clean the
condenser.
Check that the seal is applied correctly.
Lubricate the seal accordingly.
Replace the battery (Section 7.9.)
Call a specialized technician
Check that the plug is properly connected
Switch on the lid lamp using the switch
Replace the bulb (Section 7.8.)
Switch off the machine, allow the bowl contents to
melt and check that the product has been correctly
diluted.
