Commissioning / First use

Rotate the timer knob in order to switch the sauna heater on. By rotating the switch you can de-
termine the desired heating time - align the arrow on the rotating knob with the corresponding
time setting. The maximum possible heating time is 4 hours. After this time the heater will switch
off automatically.
In order to switch the heater off manually rotate the timer knob to position „0".
Please bear in mind that you will need at least 45 - 60 minutes time to heat up your sauna in order
to reach the typical sauna climate.
With the rotating knob of the thermostatic temperature control you can adjust the sauna temperature
in the range approx. 40°C - 100°C. Please consider that the sensor acquires the temperature in the next
proximity. The temperature in other parts of the sauna cabin may vary, which is typical for saunas.
The sauna heater is started by rotating the timer knob which is fitted with a synchronous motor.
Because of the mains frequency (50 Hz) it may produce a very low noise. This is normally and not
a sign of a fault.
Notice for temperature regulation
Please bear in mind that the temperature sensor is placed inside sauna heater, an external sensor
is not necessary. The sauna cabin size and layout may have a large influence on the temperature
development and stability. Furthermore considerable differences between the temperatures around
the ceiling and in the lower zones are very typical.
One should also consider that conventional sauna thermometers with bi-metal mechanism react
slowly and need some time to show the current temperature. Also their position in the sauna has
a large influence on the displayed value.
We recommend to determine through practical tests the temperature setting which is most suitable
to your personal preferences. By rotating the thermostat knob you can increase or decrease the
average temperature.
