PRACTICAL TIP
When processing solvents with a tendency toward boiling retar-
dation (e.g. ethanol), it is recommended to calibrate the sensor
slightly less sensitively.
This prevents the boiling delay from being detected as a fluid and
that the fluid level in the rotary piston decreases excessively before
adding new media.
The sensor should only react to liquids, never to boiling delay or
foam!
