Prerequisites
The following conditions must be met for rinsing the distillate tube:
– Heating bath of the rotary evaporator is switched on
– Recirculation chiller is switched on
– Vacuum pump is switched on
Procedure

Depending on the selection, the various lines of the system are flushed.
➜ To fill the evaporation flask, see also section "Commissioning" on page 96.
Select a vacuum value adequate for the solvent and set the
hysteresis to 50 mbar.
A large pressure range is passed through by the large
hysteresis.
All glass parts are first wetted, after which drops are formed,
which then run off.
As a result, the glass parts in the distillate area are cleaned
within a short time.
