Initial filling of the evaporation flask

Regardless of the operating mode selected, the following steps must be followed to fill
the evaporation flask for the first time to ensure continuous feed of the educt during
operation:
➜ Turn on the rotary evaporator and wait for the software to initialize (start screen
appears on the control panel).
➜
Switch on the heating bath heater and the recirculation chiller.
➜ Turn on control box and wait for the software to initialize (start screen appears on
the control panel).
➜
Decrease the system pressure, until a vacuum pressure of 7 mBar is reached
(observe the control panel of the rotary evaporator!).
➜ Start any given process by touching the
panel of the Distimatic Pro control box.
➜ Open the inlet valve on the educt sensor vessel.
➜ Fill the educt sensor vessel to the bottom edge of the inlet
➜ Stop the process (function button
Distimatic Pro) to stop the filling.
➜
If the level in the educt sensor vessel is too high, open the residue valve V3 briefly
to lower the level as described.
➜ Close the inlet valve
