Upon delivery, the most current firmware is installed on the timer. You
may display the firmware version using the programming terminal
(BOS).
In rare cases, it may be necessary to update the firmware.
Arbitrary and improper firmware replacement
Damages possible through improper handling!
Therefore, firmware updates may only be performed at our

The following software tools are available for firmware update:
• WinBlow (refer to Sect. 10.3.1, starting on page 293):
For firmware update of PST 6x00.xxx timer types via interface X1.
• FWUpdate (refer to Sect. 10.3.2, starting on page 294):
For firmware update of all timers via the Ethernet field bus interface.
