Warning: Do not force the extension connector into the connector block,
especially if the setscrews are not sufficiently retracted. Excessive force may
damage the extension and cause inadequate stimulation.
Warning: Fully insert the extension. Tighten the setscrew clockwise until the
white torque wrench clicks at least once. A loose or incomplete connection
between the neurostimulator and extension may cause a loss of stimulation.
3. Insert each extension into the appropriate neurostimulator socket until it is fully seated
within the connector block (Figure 2).
4. To simplify electrode assignment during programming, insert the identified left
extension into the top (0-7) neurostimulator socket (Socket 1). Then insert the right
extension into the bottom (8-15) neurostimulator socket (Socket 2).
