Do not use this car seat for more than 11 years. The car seat is exposed
to high stress during its product life span, which leads to changes in the
quality of the material with increasing age.

The plastic parts can be cleaned with a mild cleaning agent and warm
water. Never use harsh cleaning agents or bleaches!
!
On some vehicle seats made of sensitive materials, the use of car seats
may leave marks and/or cause discolouration. To prevent this, you can
place a blanket or towel or similar underneath the car seat to protect the
vehicle seat.

THE CORRECT POSITION IN THE VEHICLE
76 cm – 105 cm; > 15 m with impact shield
This is an i­Size Enhanced Child Restraint System. It is approved according
to UN Regulation No. R129/03, for use in i­Size compatible vehicle seating
positions as indicated by vehicle manufacturers in their vehicle user manuals.
If your vehicle does not have an i­Size seating position, please check the
enclosed vehicle type list. You can obtain the most up­to­date version from

100 cm – 150 cm; with automatic three-point belt
The car seat can be used on vehicle seats which are equipped with an
automatic three­point belt. Refer to the enclosed vehicle type list for approved
vehicles. You can obtain the most up­to­date version from
www.cybex-online.com.
For the use with three­point belt between the height range 100 cm – 150 cm
there is the possibility of usage without ISOFIX and Top Tether. In this case,
the car seat must always be secured with the three­point belt even when there
is no child in the seat.
In exceptional cases, the car seat may also be used on the front passenger seat.
Always comply with the recommendations of the vehicle manufacturer.
Above a child's height of 135 cm, the compatibility between the

Pallas G i­Size and your vehicle might be reduced.

INSTALLING THE CAR SEAT IN THE VEHICLE

1. Always ensure that...
• the backrests in the vehicle are locked in their upright position.
• when installing the car seat on the front passenger seat, adjust the vehicle
seat as far back as possible without affecting the belt routing.
2. Detach the Top Tether Belt (s) from the Top Tether Parking Position (t).
3. Before installation, make sure that the car seat is in the seating position.
4. Release the ISOFIX Release Buttons (p) to extend the ISOFIX Locking Arms (n).
The ISOFIX Release Buttons can both be released independently allowing

the ISOFIX Locking Arms to be adjusted independently.
5. Push the ISOFIX Locking Arms (n) out of the base to their furthest extent.
6. Place the car seat on an appropriate seat in the car.
7. Push the ISOFIX Locking Arms (n) into the ISOFIX Anchorage Points (o)
until these lock into place with an audible "CLICK". The two ISOFIX Safety
Indicators (q) will switch from red to green.
8. Ensure the seat is secure by trying to pull it out of the ISOFIX Anchorage
Points (o).
9. Push the car seat towards the backrest of the vehicle seat until it is fully
aligned with the backrest.
If the headrest of the vehicle is in the way, pull it upwards to its furthest

extent or remove it completely (except in rear­facing vehicle seats).
10. Guide the Top Tether Belt (s) straight across the vehicle seat and anchor it
using the snap hook on the anchor point of your vehicle.
