Warning light

The warning light flashes while the door is moving.
• Connect the warning light to flash output terminals 4 and 5.

24 V output

The 24 V output supplies a light barrier or the safety contact strip. Connection is on terminals 1 and 4.

Operating instructions

Opening, closing or stopping the garage door

Risk of injury
Do not open or close the garage door if there are persons or objects within the swivel range.
In the event of a power failure or malfunctions on the opener, open the garage door with the internal
or external emergency release only. If the door can be actuated with increased force following actuation
of the emergency release, always consult a garage door technician.
Keep the handheld transmitter in a secure location in the vehicle to prevent it from causing damage,
e.g. when the vehicle brakes.
Caution!
Do not expose the handheld transmitter to high temperatures (e.g. handheld transmitter in the vehicle
exposed directly to the sun).
• Aim the handheld transmitter at the garage door and press the button for 1–2 seconds
or
• Press the pushbutton (e.g. key-operated pushbutton)
– The opener light comes on for 60 seconds after the garage door has been opened or closed.
Sequence if the handheld transmitter or pushbutton is actuated repeatedly:
Open – Stop – Close – Stop – Open – Stop – Close – Stop, etc.

Internal emergency release

In the event of an emergency or power failure the garage door can be disconnected from the opener and
opened (by hand) from inside.
Risk of injury
The opened garage door may fall down when it is released because the springs are weak or broken
or the door has been inadequately balanced.
• Release the garage door opener by pulling line a.
– The lever engages and the garage door can be opened by hand.
• Prepare to engage the garage door opener by pressing down the plastic lever b.
• Then move the garage door by hand into the initial position.
– When the garage door opener engages, a distinct "click" can be heard.
