• Attach fixing bracket L to the ceiling or lintel depending on the installation situation
(see "Installation situations/examples"). Borehole depth 5.3 cm.
• Remove the cover flap.
• Connect the garage door opener to the fixing bracket.
– Do not tighten the bolt. The bolt can have play, as the nut is self-locking.
• Attach the opener head to the ceiling, Borehole depth 5.3 cm.
– Ensure that the opener head is aligned central to the garage door (compare bracket K on the
door leaf)!
• Connect guide arm M to the bracket on the door leaf (with Q, Y) and to the carriage. Bolts can have
play, as the nuts are self-locking.
If doors do not have a rigid mechanical end stop, attach end stop bracket Z as follows:
• Open the garage door fully. The installation position of the end stop bracket is situated directly
behind the carriage when the door is fully open.
• Mark the boreholes and then drill with a 3.6 mm Ø metal bit.
• Attach the end stop bracket with sheet-metal tension screws ZZ.
• Check door movement by hand. The carriage must be released beforehand.
• Open the garage door fully and close.
• When the garage door is closed, prepare to couple the garage door opener by pressing down
the plastic lever. The release mechanism is cancelled as soon as the metal lever disengages.
Then manually move the garage door into the "door open position", i.e. the carriage couples with
the driver.

Switching on the garage door opener

Risk of injury!
When switching on the garage door opener and making adjustments, keep people and objects out of the
swivel range of the garage door.
Note:
The opener light is switched on permanently and may cause the temperature of the bulb cover to rise
significantly. Therefore switch on the garage door opener without the cover.
• Insert the mains plug. The opener light switches on permanently.
• Check whether the driver on the chain is engaged with the carriage. It must not be possible to move
the garage door by hand.
