COSMO High‐efficiency pump CPH 2.0
Before doing any mechanical or electrical work, the device must always be
disconnected from the power supply. Before opening the device, all
indicator lamps in the control panel must be off. Even after disconnecting
the power supply, the intermediate circuit capacitor is still at a
dangerously high voltage.
Only securely wired connections are permitted. The device must be
grounded (IEC 536 Class 1, NEC, and other corresponding standards).
Even if motor is at rest, mains supply and motor terminals can be at a
dangerously high voltage.
Defective cables must be replaced immediately by customer service or a
suitably qualified technician, to exclude all possible risks.
3.2.
Personnel requirements
Installation and commissioning may only be carried out by suitably trained and
qualified persons. The operator(s) must receive expert instruction regarding all
operating aspects.
Electrical connection of the device may only be carried out by a qualified electrician,
and in accordance with national and local regulations.
3.3
Personal protective equipment
Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as ear protection, goggles, safety shoes,
safety helmet, protective clothing, and safety gloves must be worn during all work
on the system or device.

country.
3.4.
Intended use – Liability and warranty
The COSMO CPH 2.0 high‐efficiency pumps are designed for use in domestic
heating systems, underfloor heating, and air conditioning systems.
The pump may not be used for the following applications:
o
Water/glycol mixtures with more than 30% glycol content
o
Mineral oils
o
Contaminated liquids
o
Use in drinking water networks.
The pump has been built in accordance with state‐of‐the‐art standards and accepted
safety rules. Nonetheless, hazards can arise when using the pump, which can endanger
life or limb of the user or of third parties, or cause damage to the plant or other assets
