Integrated Continuous Battery Charging System
7. Insert battery into Scan Room Unit.
8. Ensure that the Control Room Unit is powered On and verify that the
Integrated Continuous Battery Charger system Status Indicator on
Control Room Unit Display indicates that the Continuous Battery Charger
is operational.
The following is a list of materials and tools needed for Control Room
installation:
• Power supply
• 20 ft. (6.1 m) cable
• 50 ft. (15.2 m) cable
• Mounting Plate
• Filtered cable
The unit can be installed in the room two different ways through the
penetration panel: 9 pin D Connector Hole; and, Circular Connector Hole.
NOTE: Ensure the metal of the connector on the filtered cable
makes good contact with the penetration panel.
9 Pin D Connector Hole
Use the 9 Pin D Connector Hole when 9 pin holes in the penetration panel can
be used.
1. Outside the procedure room, position power supply on the floor by an AC
power plug so that the power cord can reach the plug and that it is no
more than 20 ft. (6.1m) from the penetration panel.
2. Remove the protective tape from the dual lock on the bottom of the power
supply and stick to a clean surface.
3. Remove the 9 pin cover plate on the penetration panel and install the
filtered cable.
4. Route 50 ft (15.2 m) cable from the penetration panel to the Scan Room
Unit.
5. Connect cable into Scan Room Unit.
• Power cord
• 1/8 in. flat blade screw driver
• 1/4 in. wrench or nut driver
(D connector hole), or 9/16 in.
wrench (circular hole)
• Drill with 1.375" (3.5 cm) bit for
(circular hole)
• Cleaning solution
