7. Maintenance and cleaning

7 Periodic maintenance .1
Repairs must only be carried out by the manufacturer.
Cleaning the units and checking the liquid levels and quality is the only periodic maintenance
required. With normal use, no further maintenance should be necessary. If required, the system
can be returned to the manufacturer for re-condi�oning.
If used with des�lled water, a�er each work the pump including reservoir must be emp�ed and
made dry.

7.2 Replacement of the filters in pressure ports p1 and p2
• Extract the bonded seal (USIT), e.g. using a tweezer.
• Extract the filter, e.g. using a tweezer.
• Replace filter (taken from op�onal mainenance kit order-code
• Place bonded seal (USIT) or replace with an new one from maintenance kit.
7.2 Maintenance (using the maintenance kit order-code
Working with the maintenance kit is only allowed for skilled personnel.
Working instruc�ons for the maintenence kit is available with the maintenance kit.
• The O-rings must be coated with a very li�le bit of silicone oil.
• Following torques must be considered:
(1) = 25 Nm (4 screws)
(2) = 45 Nm (2 pressure ports)
(3) = 25 Nm (4 screws)
