Pressure comparison pumps
When using threaded adapters, the threaded adapters has to be connected pressure
�ght to the unit under test first.
A�er that the test item with mounted adapter can be inserted into the test
connec�on (pressure port p1 or p2) and can be oriented.
3.2 Opera�ng fluids to be used
The pressure comparison test pumps models
• Hydraulic fluids based on mineral oil.
(We recommend our oil order-code
If the pump is used with mineral oil, the sinter filter in the reservoir (3) has to be dismounted.
See chapter 6.3.
• Des�lled water
(We recommend non-parfumed des�lled water like used for steam iron plates or car ba�eries.)
If used with water:
- A�er each usage, the instrument has to be emp�ed and let dryed out.
- As soon as first cloudiness, par�cles or dirt become visible: change the fluid (water).
The special model suitable for SKYDROL ("S" added at serial number) are suitable for Skydrol and
break fluids only (NOT for water or mineral oil).
Change the opera�ng fluid as soon as cloudiness, par�cles or dirt become visible
in the reservoir!
NOTE:
The final inspec�on of all pumps in factory is carried out with des�lled water.
Wear safety goggles!
Protect eyes from flying par�cles and liquid splashes.
4. Design and func�on
4.1 Descrip�on
The models LR- Cal LSP
for use in the laboratory, as well as the ruggedness needed for industrial applica�ons. It is
suitable for pressure genera�on up to 1,000 bar resp. 1,200 bar resp. 1,600 bar.
Test item and reference measuring instrument are connected to the two test connec�ons.
