6.5.4 Pressure genera�on (tes�ng/calibra�ng)
The star-handle (9) must be in fully an�-clockwise turned posi�on.
• Close the locking lever (1) by turning clockwise (
• Operate priming pump (6) un�l about 5..10 bar are generated (max. 20 bar!).
• Adjust the test pressure using the star-handle (9).
Turning the star-handle (9) clockwise increases the pressure.
Turning the star-handle (9) an�-clockwise decreases the pressure.
You may compare indicated pressure values of pressure reference instrument and unit under test
at each pressure step.
If there is s�ll some air remaining in the system (calibra�on circuit), the generated
pressure drops ini�ally and has to be re-adjusted using the star-handle (9).
At high pressure values it may take more �me un�l stabilisa�on of the pressure.
Wear safety goggles!
Protect eyes from flying par�cles and liquid splashes.
6.5.5 Changing unit under test or reference instrument
• Turn out star-handle (9) fully an�-clockwise.
• Open the locking lever (1) by turning an�-clockwise (
Now also the priming pressure is released.
• Close the locking lever (1) by turning clockwise (
If the locking lever (1) is not closed when you dismount unit under test or reference instrument,
opera�ng fluid may run out (at the pressure port(s)).
Dirty or chemically polluted units under test must be cleaned before moun�ng.
