Application
Can be used in conjunction with: Pressurised storage heaters,
thermally and hydraulically controlled instantaneous heaters.
Operation with low-pressure displacement water heaters is not
possible.

Specifications

• Flow pressure
min. 0.5 bar - recommended 1 - 5 bar
• Operating pressure
• Test pressure
If static pressure is greater than 5 bar, fit pressure reducer.
Avoid major pressure differences between cold and hot water
supply.
• Flow rate at 3 bar flow pressure:
- aerator
- dishwasher connection
• Temperature
Hot water inlet:
Recommended:
• Operartion dishwasher is possible with cold or hot water
• Water connection
• Max. clamping length
Installation
Flush pipes thoroughly!
Prepare sink unit
Refer to the dimensional drawing on fold-out page I.
Fit mixer, see fold-out page II, Fig. [1].
Proceed as follows:
• Insert mixer into sink. This will require feeding through the
pressure hoses one at a time.
• For mounting purposes, you will need only a 13mm socket
spanner.
Note:
If the support plate (A) is omitted, the clamping length can be
increased by 15mm.
Connect mixer, see Figs. [1] and [2].
With an open-ended 19mm spanner the flexible connectors must
be connected to the service valves.
- Cold-water connection (marked blue)
- Hot-water connection (marked red)
- Dishwasher connection
Dishwasher connection
This mixer is factory installed for operation the dishwasher with cold
water. If dishwasher shall operate with warm water please proceed
as folows:
Shut off cold and hot water supply!
1. Remove shut-off knob (B), see Fig. [3].
2. Remove ceramic headpart (C) with snap insert (D) using a 17mm
socket spanner.
3. Screw out screw (E) from hot water supply (position 1) and screw
in cold water supply (position 2).
Assemble in reverse order.
Before installation of the shut-off knob, close the headpart (C) and
fit shut-off knob (B) in the STOP position.
Open hot and cold-water supply and check connections for
leakage!

Flow rate limiter
This mixer is fitted with a flow rate limiter, permitting an infinitely
approx. 12.5 l/min
individual variable reduction in the flow rate.

The highest possible flow rate is set by the factory before despatch.
(maximum) 80 °C
The use of flow rate limiters in combination with hydraulic
(energy saving) 60 °C
instantaneous water heaters is not recommended.
For commissioning see "replacing the cartridge"

Maintenance

Inspect and clean all parts, replace as necessary and grease with
special grease (order no. 18 012).
Shut off cold and hot water supply!
I. Replacing the cartridge, see Fig. [4] and [5].
1. Pull down lower part of lever (F), see Fig. [4].
2. Loosen set screw (G) using a 3mm allen key, see Fig. [5].
3. Pull off lever (H).
4. Unscrew cap (J).
5. Remove screws (K) and completely detach cartridge (L).
6. Change either the complete cartridge (L) or seals (L1).
Assemble in reverse order.
Observe the correct installation position!
Make sure that the cartridge seals (L1) engage in the grooves on
the housing. Fit screws (K) and tighten evenly and alternately.
II. Ceramic headpart, see Fig. [3].
1. Remove shut-off knob (B).
= right
2. Pull off snap insert (D).
= left
3. Remove ceramic headpart (C) using a 17mm socket spanner.
= 3/4"
Assemble in reverse order.
Before installation of the shut-off knob, close the headpart (C), fit
snap insert (D) and shut-off knob (B) in the STOP position.
III. Unscrew and clean aerator (13 929), see fold-out page II.
Assemble in reverse order.
Replacement parts, see fold-out page II ( * = special accessories).
