> As with any electrical appliance, due to the specific use, a failure of the lifting
unit can cause damage (for example in the case of faulty operation, due to a
power failure or a technical defect). If this can result in consequential damage an
alternative system (for example emergency power supply, double pumping station,
network-independent alarm) must be available. In that case by installation of the
lifting unit behind a front wall, to prevent uncontrolled water leakage, the FLOW
alarm system with humity sensor (KBN: ABSSAF), and for network- independent
operation the 9V NiMH battery block (KBN: ABSBATT9), must be installed.
ATTENTION!
Activation of the "high water level" alarm is delayed while the system attempts to fix the
problem with two pumping test cycles. On completion, if the problem persists the alarm
will then sound.
ATTENTION!
The lifting unit must not be thrown or dropped during transport or installation.
The lifting unit must not be lifted by the power cable!
> Observe the correct operating voltage (see "Technical Data").
> Never place the power plug in water.
> Connect the lifting unit to a properly installed electrical socket (in compliance with
VDE and the power supply company regulations) protected by at least
a 10 A (slow-blowing) fuse.
> For units of protection classification I, all exposed conductive parts are connected
with a protective earth conductor. Before the unit is put into operation, an
electrically skilled person must check that the protective earth cable is properly
connected.
> Temperatures higher than those permitted cause the pump to be shut off by the
temperature limiter. After the temperature limiter is triggered, disconnect the pump
from the electric system before correcting the cause of the fault, otherwise it will
switch on automatically once cooled down.
