Chapter IV
Safety Information
1. The four-wheel aligner must be operated by the professionally trained and skilled vehicle technician. The safety information given in
this Operation Instruction is mainly used to prompt the operator not to endanger his safety and the safety of other personnel in the
working area when operating the wheel aligner.
2. It is impossible for the manufacturer of wheel aligner to foresee all situations that may occur during vehicle repair and provide
corresponding suggestions or safety information due to the great differences in repair skills, techniques, tools, parts, etc. The technician
of the wheel aligner must pay attention to the safety information on vehicle repair and operation, and perform four-wheel alignment by
appropriate repair and adjustment methods.
3. Before using the wheel aligner, the operator must have a complete understanding of the vehicle system to be repaired, as well as the
operating and safety characteristics of the lift, and be provided with appropriate tools for four-wheel alignment.
During the use of wheel aligner or workshop equipment, basic safety procedures must be observed, including:
3.1. Read all the safety tips carefully.
3.2. Do not touch scorching metal parts to avoid burns.
3.3. In case the power cable of the wheel aligner is damaged, do not operate the wheel aligner before the fault is eliminated by the
professional maintenance personnel.
3.4. Do not hang any cable on the edge of the table or bench or allow any cable to contact hot manifold or moving fan blades.
3.5. Cables or sockets with the rated current not less than the rated current of the wheel aligner shall be used; otherwise, overheating or
burning may be caused.
3.6. Always remove the power plug when the wheel aligner is not in use. Catch the plug body instead of the cable when removing the plug
from the socket. Loosely wind the cable around the wheel aligner before storage.
3.7. The wheel aligner must use AC 220-240 V/10 A/50 HZ power and 3-pin power socket with the rated current higher than 10 A.
3.8. The measuring lens, target board and fixture of the wheel aligner are all precision measuring components and shall be handled with
care during use.
3.9. Please do not install software at will, in order to achieve optimal safety and performance of the computer system of the wheel aligner.
3.10. Do not change the terminals to/from the programmable controller and the terminals between the programmable controller and the
control cabinet of lift without permission.
3.11. Do not change the programs in the programmable controller without permission.
3.12. Personnel other than those authorized by our company must not disassemble the four-wheel aligner.
