• The 8232 sensors with a 4-20 mA output are used to measure
the free chlorine concentration in water.
• The 8232 sensor with a 0-2 V output is used to measure chlo-
rine concentration in water at very low concentrations.
• Use the sensor in compliance with the specifications and
conditions of commissioning and use given in the contractual
documents, in these Operating Instructions.
• Safe and trouble-free operation of the sensor depends on its
proper transport, storage and installation, as well as careful
operation and maintenance.
• Only use the sensor as intended.
• Observe any existing restraints when the sensor is exported.
