Cleaning the sieve in the safety block
1. Open the high-pressure gun until the device is com-
pletely depressurised.
2. Pull out the securing clip.
3. Pull the hose section out of the safety block.
4. Pull the sieve out of the safety block.
5. Clean the sieve under running water.
6. Mount the components in the reverse order.
Replacing the oil in the high-pressure pump
For the oil type and filling quantity see chapter Techni-
cal data.
1. Provide a catch pan for at least 1 litre of oil.
2. Unscrew the oil drain plug.
3. Drain the oil into the catch pan.
4. Screw in the oil drain plug.
5. Slowly fill with new oil until the middle of the oil level
indication is reached. Air bubbles must be able to
escape.
Descaling the device
If deposits accumulate in the pipelines, this will increase
the flow resistance and the motor load will get too high.
DANGER
Flammable gases
Risk of explosion
Do not smoke during the descaling process.
Ensure good ventilation.
DANGER
Acids
Risk of acid burns
Wear safety goggles and protective gloves.
According to legal regulations, only approved scaling
solvents with test symbol may be used for descaling.
 RM 101 (order number 6.295-398.0)
1. Fill a container for 20 litres with 15 litres of water.
2. Add 1 litre of scale remover.
3. Connect the water hose to the water connection and
hang the free end in the container.
4. Insert the connected spray lance without the high-
pressure nozzle in the container.
5. Start the motor according to the original instructions
for the motor.
6. Open the high-pressure gun and do not close it
again during descaling.
7. Set the temperature controller to a working temper-
ature of 40 °C.
8. Let the device run until the working temperature is
reached and the burner goes out.
9. Switch off the device and allow it to stand for 20 min-
utes. The high-pressure gun must remain open.
10. Pump the device empty.
Note
We then recommend pumping an alkaline solution (e.g.
RM 81) through the device to protect against corrosion
and neutralize the acid residues.
Vent the device
1. Open the water inlet.
2. Remove the high-pressure nozzle.
3. Start the motor according to the original instructions
for the motor.
4. Allow the device to run until the escaping water is
free of air bubbles.
5. Switch off the device.
6. Fit the high-pressure nozzle.
