CAUTION
Penetration of dirt and humidity into the prosthesis
Injury due to unexpected prosthesis behaviour or malfunction.
► Should moisture have penetrated the prosthesis, remove the product from the prosthesis
and allow both to dry. Observe the safety information in the instructions for use for your
prosthesis as well.
► The product and the prosthesis must be inspected by an authorised Ottobock Service
Centre.
NOTICE
Mechanical damage to the product
Change in or loss of functionality due to damage.
► Use caution when working with the product.
► If the product is damaged, check it for proper function and readiness for use.
► Take any necessary measures (e.g. repair, replacement, inspection by the manufacturer's
customer service, etc.).

• 1 pc. Kenevo Protective Cover main unit
• 1 pc. 4P840=R lengthwise closure
• 1 pc. 4P860=U upper closure
• 1 pc. 4P8 flexible cover cap
• 1 pc. 647G1138 instructions for use (user)
6 Handling
INFORMATION
Removing the flexible cover cap from the prosthetic foot is not possible. The flexible cover cap
remains loose on the prosthetic foot when the protective cover is not being used.
6.1 Protector Installation
NOTICE
Loss of stability due to inadequately installed retainers
No hold of the protector on the knee joint.
► Ensure that all retainers and closures are properly engaged and/or fastened.
1) Open or remove the closures.
2) Spread open the protective cover.
3) Put the protective cover over the knee joint and apply it (see fig. 1).
INFORMATION: The retainers of the protective cover (at the side in the upper closure
area) have to engage on the frame element of the knee joint (see fig. 2).
4) Squeeze the protective cover together with both hands.
5) Fasten the upper closure (see fig. 3).
6) Fasten the lengthwise closure by sliding it in.
7) Align the two lengthwise grooves on the flexible cover cap with the lengthwise closure (see
fig. 4).
6.2 Removing the Protector
1) Pull down the flexible cover cap until the protective cover is exposed.
