3.7 Analogbetrieb
Hinweis:
Verwenden Sie für den Analogbetrieb aus-
schließlich regelbare Modelleisenbahntransfor-
matoren. Der Betrieb mit Analog-Fahrreglern
mit Pulsweitensteuerung (PWM) ist nicht mög-
lich und kann zu Fehlfunktionen führen.
Der Niederbordwagen lässt sich auch auf analog
gesteuerten Gleich- und Wechselstrom-Modell-
bahnanlagen betreiben. Der Funktionsumfang ist
jedoch systembedingt eingeschränkt. Die im Ana-
logbetrieb zu aktivierenden Funktionen können
der CV-Tabelle auf den Seiten 16 – 18 entnom-
men werden.
CVs 56 – 59 hinterlegt.
Empfehlung:
Drehen Sie den Transformator für kurze Stopps
(Betriebshalte) nicht ganz auf null, sondern las-
sen Sie eine minimale Spannung zur Versorgung
des Fahrzeuges (Beleuchtung und Sound) am
Gleis. Dies stellt auch sicher, dass der Strom-
speicher weitestgehend geladen ist, wenn das
Modell startet.

3.7 Analogue mode
Please note:
Only use analogue variable ratio model train-
transformers. Transformers/throttles applying
pulse width modulation (PWM) are not suitable
and can lead to malfunction.
The low side car can also be operated on ana-
logue layouts utilizing DC or AC power supplies.
However, the number of functions available is re-
duced due to system limitations. You may program
the functions that should be active in analogue
mode. Also refer to the CV table on pages 16 – 18.
The engine sound sets in at a track voltage of
about 6 V. The vehicle slowly starts moving once
the track voltage has been increased to 7 V.
Since there are certain locomotives that start mo-
ving at 3 volt track voltage, the low side car cannot
provide additional tractive effort in analogue mode,
because it is possible that the locomotive may start
moving sooner than the low side car.
Synchronizing the locomotive drive and the one
of the low side car for simultaneous starting is not
possible in analogue mode. In individual cases it
depends on attempt. Ordinary DC transformers
resp. throttles (e. g. Roco or Fleischmann) or AC
transformers (e. g. Märklin,Titan) may be used for
analogue operation. The values in the CVs 56 –
59 determine the behavior at low track voltages.
Recommendation:
Do not turn the transformer right down to zero
for short stops but rather maintain a minimum
track voltage supplying the decoder with
enough energy to power the lights, etc. This
also assures that the power storage module
is charged as far as possible when the model
starts moving again.
