3.8 Digitale Zusatzfunktionen
Beleuchtung: F0
Zugschlussleuchten
2 Anschlüsse für fahrtrichtungsabhängige
Beleuchtung sind am rückwärtigen Ende des
Fahrzeugs vorgesehen. Es handelt sich um 2
zweipolige Buchsen zur Aufnahme der Zug-
schlussbeleuchtung, Zugschlusstafeln oder
Blindstopfen.
Achten Sie beim Einsetzen der modernen Zug-
schlussbeleuchtung auf passgenauen Sitz des
Stegs in der Sicke der Stirnwandklappe.
Das garantiert eine ordnungsgemäße Funktion
je nach Fahrtrichtung und einen sicheren Halt
am Niederbordwagen. Sofern eine Beleuchtung
angeschlossen ist, lässt sich diese ein- oder
ausschalten bzw. fahrtrichtungsabhängig rot
oder weiß schalten.
Soundmodul: F1
Das integrierte Soundmodul enthält ver-
schiedene betriebsabhängige Geräusche.
Im Stillstand spielt es beim Betätigen von F1
Start- bzw. Auslaufgeräusche des Dieselmotors
bzw. Grundgeräusche der Dampflok. Während
der Fahrt gibt es geschwindigkeitsabhängige
Fahrgeräusche wieder.
Pfeife: F2
Pfeife ist immer aktivierbar, auch wenn F1
(Soundmodul) aus ist.
Tipp: Betätigen Sie vor dem Anfahren vor-
bildgerecht einmal die Pfeife.
Wasserpumpe: F3
Das Geräusch der Wasserpumpe steht nur
bei Dampflok-Sound zur Verfügung und ist nur
aktivierbar, wenn F1 (Soundmodul) aktiv ist.
Rangiermodus: F4
Im Rangiermodus ist die Beschleunigungs- und
Bremsrampe abgeschaltet.
Zusatzausgang: F5
Der Zusatzausgang ist auf der Unterseite vorne
an den Lötanschlüssen der Platine verfügbar.
Zusatzausgang: F6
Der Zusatzausgang ist auf der Unterseite hinten
an den Lötanschlüssen der Platine verfügbar.
Bei beiden Ausgängen wird zur Decodermasse
geschaltet. Maximal dürfen die beiden Aus-
gänge jeweils mit 50 mA belastet werden.
Diese Ausgänge sind z. B. für weitere LEDs,
Optokoppler oder Relais vorgesehen.

3.8 Digital additional functions
Lighting: F0
Train rear lanterns
2 sockets for connecting directional train rear
lanterns are installed at one end of the vehicle.
Here you may plug-in the train rear lanterns, tail
end indicators or the dummy plugs.
Make sure the modern train rear lanterns are
perfectly aligned with the crimp in the end wall
flap of the waggon. This assures reliable func-
tionality subject to the direction of travel as well
as positive mechanical attachment to the wag-
gon. Lighting devices connected to these sock-
ets may be switched on or off respectively will
change from white to red according to the direc-
tion of travel.
Sound module: F1
Several operational sounds are stored in the in-
tegral sound module. When pressing F1 while
the train is stationary one hears the starting
sounds of the diesel engine respectively the
engine shut down noises or basic sounds of
a steam loco. During movement the running
sounds are subject to the speed of travelling.
Horn: F2
Horn can be activated also when F1 (sound
module) is inactive.
Hint: Prior to moving you should activate proto-
typically the horn once.
Water pump: F3
The sound of the water pump is only available
in steam sound mode and can only be activated
if F1 (sound module) is active.
Shunting mode: F4
In shunting mode acceleration and deceleration
ramps are disabled.
Auxiliary output: F5
The additional auxiliary output at the forward
end of the underside of the vehicle can be ac-
cessed via soldering pads.
Auxiliary output: F6
This auxiliary output is accessible via the sol-
dering pads on the underside at the rear end of
the vehicle. Both outputs are switched against
the decoder ground. The maximum current of
both auxiliary outputs is 50 mA. They may be
used to power additional LEDs, opto-couplers
or relays. For connection details refer to chapter
4.10 "Interfaces".
