3. Betrieb
Der Niederbordwagen mit Antrieb ist für analogen
und digitalen Betrieb geeignet. Für den vorbildge-
rechten Einsatz und die Nutzung der Zusatzfunk-
tionen empfehlen wir die Verwendung eines Digi-
talsystems.

3.1 Schnellstart

Der integrierte Decoder versteht die Digitalformate
Märklin-Motorola (MM) und DCC. Er erkennt auto-
matisch, mit welchem Digitalformat er angespro-
chen wird und stellt sich darauf ein.
Werkseinstellungen:
Adresse: 03 (DCC/MM)
Fahrstufenmodus: DCC 28 Fahrstufen
Licht: F0
Sound: F1, Standard ist der Diesellok-Sound
Pfeife: F2
Wasserpumpe (nur für Dampflok-Sounds): F3
Rangiermodus: F4
Schaltausgang vorne: F5
Schaltausgang hinten: F6
Tipp:
Bei Verwendung einer multiprotokollfähigen
Digitalzentrale empfehlen wir den Betrieb mit
dem Protokoll DCC und einer digitalen Aus-
gangsspannung von 17 – 24 V. So lassen sich
die optimalen Betriebseigenschaften erzielen.
3.2 Funktionsumfang
Sämtliche digital schaltbaren Funktionen des Nie-
derbordwagens entnehmen Sie bitte der CV-Tabel-
le, siehe Seiten 16 – 18. Der Niederbordwagen ver-
fügt über folgende Funktionen bzw. Ausstattung:
- Fahren vorwärts/rückwärts (digital, analog)
- RailCom-fähiger Digitaldecoder für DCC/MM
und Analogbetrieb
- Funktionen digital schaltbar
- Lichtfunktionen: An der Rückseite des Nieder-
bordwagens befinden sich rechts und links
zweipolige Buchsen
Bei den Modellen Art.-Nr. 2310 und 2311 ist die
mitgelieferte klassische Zugschlusslaterne an-
geschlossen. Eingeschaltet leuchtet diese in
beiden Fahrtrichtungen rot.
Bei den Modellen Art.-Nr. 2315 und 2316 ist
eine moderne Zugschlussbeleuchtung ange-
schlossen. In Fahrtrichtung vorwärts leuchtet
diese weiß, in Fahrtrichtung rückwärts leuchtet
sie rot.

3. Operation
The low side car with drive unit is suitable for ana-
logue and digital operation. We recommend oper-
ating this vehicle in digital mode in order to run it
like the prototype and to enjoy all special features
this model offers.
3.1 Quickstart
The integral decoder supports Märklin-Motorola
(MM) as well as DCC. It automatically detects the
available digital data format.
Factory settings:
Address: 03 (DCC and MM)
Speed step mode: DCC 28 speed steps
Light: F0
Sound: F1, standard sound is diesel loco sound
Horn: F2
Water pump (only for steam loco sounds): F3
Shunting mode: F4
Switching output front: F5
Switching output rear: F6
Hint:
When using a multiprotocol digital command
station we recommend operating this model
with DCC at a digital output voltage ranging
between 17 – 24 V. Thus you will achieve
optimal operating properties.
3.2 Functions
All digitally controlled functions of the low side car
can be found in the CV table, see page 16 – 18.
The low side car has the following features:
- Running forward/reverse (digital, analogue)
- RailCom capable digital decoder for DCC/MM
and analogue operation
- Functions can be separately switched in digital
mode
- Lighting functions: At the end of the low side
car there are two 2-pole sockets at the left and
right side respectively.
The classic train rear lantern is installed and
connected on the models 2310 and 2311.
When switched on, it lights up red regardless
of the direction of travel. On the models 2315
and 2316 the modern train rear lanterns are in-
stalled. These change from white to red subject
to the direction of travel.
