FACTORY RESET
If there is need to restore the control unit to its factory settings, press
simultaneously the RESET, TX CODE, AUTOSET and STEP BY STEP
buttons, release only the RESET button (holding the others pressed), until
the AUTOSET led begins to flash. Now you can release the other buttons
(TX CODE, AUTOSET and STEP BY STEP), and the TX CODE led begins
to flash . Once TX CODE led stop flashing, wait until the AUTOSET led turns
on for a while and then its turning off will confirm the control unit resets all
parameters to their initial factory settings.
DIAGNOSTICS
Management of photocells (DS) in the event of faults
The photocell management (DS) in case of a fault of AT LEAST ONE OF
THOSE ACQUIRED during installation will INHIBIT CLOSING of the barrier
(excluding all cases of controlled or automatic closing). If a photocell
previously acquired experiences a fault, the automation will stop and will only
be able to open (for safety reasons), but will never be able to close, except
following:
1. Disabling of the safety devices (DS) via the DIP switch #10 (ON)
2. Reacquisition of the missing DS (with the same ID of the faulty device)
Disabling of the safety devices (emergency operation)
Disabling management of the DS (photocells, stops, etc.) allows the control
unit to "logically eliminate" the DS that are faulty/missing, but continuing
to manage consistently the settings of the functional DS installed on the
system. Essentially, disabling the safety devices (DS) does not eliminate the
photocells installed and that are functional (raising safety issues), but only
those that are no longer functional.
Reacquisition of the missing DS (fault repair)
If a photocell (DS) experiences a fault, the automation operates according
to the function set on the faulty DS (e.g.: if the photocell is set ON OPEN
when the barrier experiences a fault , the barrier stops and will not restart until
disengaged, which will never occur, due to the presence of the fault). If you
do not want to intervene by disabling the DS via DIP switch #10, you will have
to repair the fault, i.e. replace the faulty DS with an equivalent one having the
same ID. Once you have reconnected the repaired DS, you have to run the
(DETECT) procedure again by:
a. Pressing the RESET button in the control unit
b. running DETECT via the COMUNELLO ONE app
CAUTION: when pressed, the RESET button detects all accessories
present, and re-reads all HW parameters on the board (trimmer settings,
DIP, SLIDE etc.) and SETS THE FIRST MANOEUVRE TO OPENING. If the
barrier is already fully open (safety manoeuvre), this may generate a block
on opening and the need for another command to activate closure of the
barrier.
BLACK-OUT MANAGEMENT
In the event of a power failure (or following the logic RESET, i.e.: pressure of
the key RESET on control unit), the system always makes a short opening
manoeuvre, followed by a closing manoeuvre in safety speed (receiving the
following command).
