RX PHOTOCELL TYPE 4 "ON STOP":
If the photocell is engaged on opening or closing, it activates a permanent
stop of the barrier (also when automatic closing is enabled). A new
command is needed to restore operation of the automation.
OPENING AND CLOSING LIMIT SWITCHES:
The control unit allows the connection of an opening limit switch (FCA) and
a closing limit switch (FCC) of NC type. Tripping of the limit switches in
the associated operating phases causes immediate stopping of operator
movement.
Input terminal to connect the opening limit switch (FCA) and closing limit
switch (FCC) - NC.
CAUTION: Do not jumper these inputs if they are not used.
OPERATOR SPEED ADJUSTMENT (SPEED):
The electronic control unit is equipped with a "SPEED" trimmer for operator
speed adjustment, completely managed by the microprocessor. This
setting can be entered within a range of 10% and 100% of the maximum
force applied (clockwise).
CAUTION: A variation of the "SPEED" trimmer requires pressing the
RESET button on the control unit to enable the new setting.

OBSTACLE DETECTION (SENS):
The electronic control unit is equipped with a "SENS" trimmer for adjustment
of the opposing force required to detect the presence of an obstacle,
completely managed by the microprocessor. Trimmer adjustment basically
determines the obstacle sensitivity (clockwise), i.e. with minimum sensitivity,

you will have maximum force and vice-versa.
CAUTION: Obstacle detection causes a brief reversal of the barrier closing
manoeuvre and commands a STOP on opening.
DECELERATION (SLOWING):
The operator slowing function is used on barriers to avoid sudden and high
speed impact of the pole at the end of the opening and closing phases.
Using the "SLOWING" trimmer, you can adjust the speed during the
deceleration phase. By turning the trimmer clockwise, you will increase the
speed during deceleration and vice-versa.
SLOWING START ON CLOSURE (% SLOWING CLOSE):
The control unit enables the user to select two different thresholds (% of
maximum stroke) for the start of deceleration in the closing phase. The
maximum level coincides with the start of deceleration on reaching 80% of
the maximum set stroke. The minimum level is that reached at 60% of the
maximum set stroke.

OPERATOR ENCODER:
The control unit requires connection of an Encoder for the operator.
The Encoder allows the control unit to detect obstacles and ensures
enhanced precision during manoeuvres.

INDICATOR LIGHT:

The control unit enables the connection of a 24Vdc lamp to indicate status
of the automation by means of accessories connected to the BUS with the
function INDICATOR LIGHT (e.g. IO board with INDICATOR LIGHT function
set – para. SETTING THE ACCESSORY OPERATION MODE ).

AUXILIARY UTILITY OUTPUT (OUT AUX) ELECTRIC LOCK -
FLASHING LIGHT
The control unit has a dedicated output for piloting, alternatively, 24V
12W electric locks of the impulse type or 24V
the continuous type. If the output is programmed as an ELECTRIC LOCK
COMMAND, the command is activated at each initial opening movement
for about 3 sec. If the output is programmed as AUXILIARY FLASHING
LIGHT, it will be piloted by the control unit as a standard flashing light.
