10. Warranty/guarantee and disclaimer

In countries subject to EU legal regulations, the seller
assumes a warranty covering material defects for at
least the first two years after purchasing.
This warranty covers defects that were already pre-
sent at the date of transfer by purchase. In addition
to this, for the first six months, it will be assumed that
the defect was present at the time of purchasing. It is
a prerequirement for the validity of this warranty that
all prescribed conditions in the context of assembly,
use and maintenance are adhered to. You will find the-
se in the relevant installation, system and operating
manuals as well as the attached instructions by the
components manufacturer.
These rules only apply to states subject to EU legal
regulations. In other cases, you must consult valid cur-
rent local regulations.

In Germany / Austria you can apply for fulfilment as a
first legal step. Should this not be successful, which
is assumed after claiming twice, you have the right to
a reduction of terms or you may withdraw from the
contract. In Switzerland, warranty obligations are re-
stricted to one year after purchasing date. Should a
defect occur, you have the choice between rescissi-
on, reduction of terms and redelivery or at best sub-
sequent improvement. The assumption of a warranty
covering material defects does not cover normal wear
and tear within the framework of proper use. Integral
components of the drive system (motor) and the delay
mechanisms as well as tires, lights and contact points
between rider and bicycle are subject to function-re-
lated wear and tear, also including the battery in the
case of Pedelecs and E-Bikes.
