Child lock
An important planning aspect is to
prevent inadvertent shift or unin-
tentional turning-on. You can acti-
vate the Child lock any time.
Activating the Child lock
• Press and hold the buttons 1 and
2 simultaneously for 3 seconds
at standby or working status.

of the device is locked.
All you can do with the controls is:
switch off the appliance:
• press and hold the On/Off knob,
1, again and hold it for at least 5
seconds.
or unlock the control panel:
• press and hold the knobs 1 and
2 simultaneously for 3 seconds.
Important! You must deacti-
vate the child lock before you
can use the appliance again.
Scales of temperature
There are two scales for the tem-
perature display: the
scale, °C and the Fahrenheit
scale, °F. After the turning on, the
Celsius scale, °C is set to by de-
fault.
• Press the knob 1 two times and
turn right to select a temperature
scale.
The current temperature unit sym-
bol 4 or 5, (°F or °C) flashes.
• Press the Knob 2 to confirm a
temperature scale, °F or °C.
The selected temperature unit
lights after confirmation.
