Zoom Drive Operations (Model 2152/2154/2156)

USING THE ZOOM

® DRIVE OPERATIONS

(MODEL 2152/2154/2156)

1 . Disconnect the bed power cord from the wall outlet .
2 . Push the Drive button (Figure 14) located on either
the head end siderail or on the footboard .
3 . The button will backlight and the LED will light up .
ZOOM ®

LED INDICATORS

Amber LED – The battery is low and the bed will stop using
Zoom shortly . The bed must be plugged into an AC outlet
®
as soon as possible (Figure 15) .
Green LED – The battery is charged and bed can continue
to use Zoom (Figure 15) .

WARNING
In the event the batteries become discharged while using
the Zoom drive, press the "N" (Brake Off) button to place
®
the drive wheel in Neutral and proceed to push the bed
manually . Recharge the batteries prior to using Zoom
again . Continuing to use the Zoom
battery damage and the drive wheel getting stuck in the
down position .
Note
• Handles might be hidden in the head section (Figure
16) .
• To take them out you have to unfold them and pull up
to make sure they lock into place (Figure 17) .
4 . Use handles as follows:
• To move the bed forward, push on the handles
while holding the yellow triggers .
• To move the bed backward, pull on the handles
while holding the yellow triggers .
• To stop the movement, release both yellow
triggers and stop pushing or pulling on the bed .
Note
The speed of the bed's movement will change according
to the strength used to push or pull .
