6.4 Audio recorder

The mixer is equipped with an integrated audio recorder which is able
to make stereo recordings on a USB storage device connected to a
USB port (5) The source can be the sum channel L/R MIX OUTPUT
or a stereo signal bus The source is defined via assignment to the
outputs USB L and USB R (
The recordings will be saved as WAV files The automatic file name
will be "REC_" and the recording time It will also be possible to
reproduce other audio files in WAV or MP3 format from a USB stor-
age device Audio files will be reproduced via the input channel USB
Recording and replay are independent of each other; therefore, it
will also be possible, for example, to replay music from an audio file, to
add a microphone signal to this file and to record the mix as a new file
To call up the recorder:
1) Press the key SETUP (4) to call up the setup menu
2) Tap the button "Recorder" on the left to call up the view for the

6.5 Crossover network

The mixer is equipped with a crossover network that is used to send
a low-bass signal for operating subwoofer speakers For this purpose,
a low-pass filter can be activated for Bus 8 Regardless of this, the
signal of the sum channel L / R MIX OUTPUT can be cut off in the
low-frequency range so that the signal will be split to the two ways
Requirements:
– All input channels whose input signals are also to be sent to the
subwoofer must not only be assigned to the sum channel but also
to Bus 8 (
 chapter 522)
– Bus 8 must be assigned to the outputs which are connected to the
amplifier inputs of the subwoofers (
– If only a mono subwoofer is to be used, the mono sum of the signal
can be created via the function "Sum" of Bus 8 (
