BALANCE KNEE OM8
The Balance Knee OM8 is a polycentric knee joint with a stable aluminium frame construction. The joint is suitable
for users with low functional levels, with a high to very high need for safety, and a maximum body weight of 136 kg.

INDICATIONS FOR USE

The Balance Knee OM8 is designed for patients with transfemoral and knee disarticulation amputation.

ALIGNMENT
Stance phase stability
Axial alignment can be changed using the 5 mm Allen screw (25). The joint is locked when delivered (f ig. 1).
• Turn the 5 mm Allen screw (25) clockwise to make the alignment more dynamic.
• Turn the 5 mm Allen screw (25) anticlockwise to make the alignment safer.
CAUTION: make small adjustments and check the result! (f ig. 2)!
Swing phase control
Adjusting the extension spring (f ig. 3):
• Turn the adjusting screw (1) clockwise with the help of a screwdriver:
the extension function increases.
• Turn the adjusting screw (1) anticlockwise with the help of a screwdriver:
the extension function decreases.
