6. MAINTENANCE
All maintenance must be carried out by competent personnel in strict compliance with the instructions in this booklet.
Before carrying out any maintenance, make sure that the machine is resting on the ground, turn off the tractor engine,
remove the ignition key, engage the parking brake, engage the gear, and disengage the PTO.
Before carrying out any maintenance or inspections, always clean the work area, use suitable tools that are in a good
condition.
EACH TIME THE WORK IS FINISHED:
•
It is recommended that the inside of the machine be washed with water and then dried.
EVERY 10 HOURS OF WORK:
•
Grease the crosspieces of the PTO: separate the two telescopic tubes and grease them.
•
Grease the supports of the roller rotor and the parts indicated in fig. 14.
•
Check the tension of the belts.
•
Check the screws and bolts are locked.
•
Check the condition of the flails.
