4. DESCRIPTION OF THE MACHINE

This grass cutter is suitable for cutting and collecting grass, leaves
and moss in meadows, parks, gardens and public areas in general,
sports fields, golf courses etc.
Given its sturdiness and its technical characteristics, it moves
forward quickly (5 km/h max) and also has a excellent hourly
profitability.
The machine can be used with any type of tractor with
an appropriate power rating and a universal three-point linkage
cat 1 equipped with 2 hydraulic sockets.
This machine can mount three types of knives (see fig. 02):
Flail B/B1 For cutting and collecting grass.
Flail C
For removing and collecting moss and/or
matted growth.
Flail B/B1 must work where there are no stones or shrubs and
Flail C should only skim the surface of the ground (see fig. 02)
together with flail B.
The machine must never be used in meadows or gardens
where there is gravel, in this case there would be a very
projection of stones, which is dangerous both for the operator
and for any people in the vicinity.
Therefore keep the safety distance indicated in fig.03. Its use
for shredding shrubs is strictly forbidden.
NB: When installing the Type C scraping blade, make sure that it
does not interfere with any internal part of the machine before
starting up (see fig. 17).
Any arbitrary modification to the machine relieves the manufacturer from any liability for any resulting damages.

5. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Observe the following precautions when using the machine:
It is not allowed to get on the machine when it is
running, nor should people be carried on it.
It is not allowed to stand in the opening and
unloading area of the hydraulic collector.
Any use of the machine other than that for which it is intended is to be considered unauthorized and dangerous.
Before using the machine, make sure that there is no-one in the operating range of the machine and at a distance not
less than the safety distance (fig. 03).
It must be operated only by personnel who are aware of its particular characteristics and are familiar with the main safety
procedures and who ae equipped with the relative personal protective equipment and have taken part in a training
course on its use. You should not use the machine if you are tired, ill or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medicines.
The acoustic pressure level of the machine at maximum operating load is: 98 dB (A) so the use of protective ear muffs is
obligatory.
The forward speed must vary by a maximum of 2-3 km per hour for tall, dense grass, on rough terrain and during the
Verticut operation. A speed of 4-5 km/h for low grass and flat terrain.
When lifting the collector (Multifit) the machine must always be fastened to the 3-point linkage of the tractor and
positioned on flat ground to avoid overturning
