5.1. Transportation of the machine

When transporting the machine, either for maintenance or for being placed on a truck, it is necessary to lift it by passing the cables
at the points indicated in figure 04.
Make sure that the lifting device and the cables are suitable for the weight to be lifted.
Make sure that once the vehicle is loaded onto the truck, the machine is secured with appropriate cords, always at the lifting
points.
For transport on public roads, upon request PERUZZO provides a light kit to be fitted at the rear (See fig. 05). Also be sure that it is
sufficiently raised off the ground.
Pay great attention to safety during loading and unloading, which must be carried out by qualified personnel.
5.2. Checks and recommendations before starting
These checks must be carried out with the tractor switched off, with the parking brake engaged, the gear engaged and
the power take off disengaged.
Check the condition of the two flails.
Always secure the pins with the appropriate spring-type cotterr pins.
Engage the cardan shaft ensuring that the safety catch is engaged.
Make sure that the cardan in the maximum closing position remains open no less than 4 cm, in the case of maximum
opening the two pieces must overlap by no less than 15 cm (fig. 06).
