5.2.2.2 Arrangement of Electric Power Generator Unit inside Premise
In this case it is recommended to pay attention to the following during the assembly:
1 Clearance or free space should be provided around the electric power generator unit to ensure normal cooling and access to all the components of the unit during maintenance and repair.
The illustration below shows recommended sizes of premises for various usage.
2 The entry to the premise should be sufficient for the passage of the trolley with the electric power generator unit installed on it.
3 Sufficient opening should be envisaged to supply air inside the premise for cooling the electric power generator unit.
4 The exhaust pipe should have not more than two bends.
5 The electric power generator unit should be located at a sufficient distance from the walls of the premise. It is important not only for reasons of reliability, but also to ensure access to all the
components of the unit during maintenance and repair.
6 The control panel (in case of an electric power generator unit with automatic startup system) should be located so as to ensure free access thereto for maintenance.

– Foundation
– Exhaust system
– Ventilation system
– Fuel system with external fuel tank
– Electrical connections
– Grounding
– Heating system
5.2.2.3 Foundation
The foundation should be performed of reinforced concrete and
fit the actual size of the corresponding electric power generator
unit.
When making a foundation pay attention to the following
instructions.
