When a CPA alert occurs, two actions are starting:
• LED CPA alert is flashing for a few seconds
• The connection cables (white and brown) are getting the
supply voltage in time with the CPA LED.
You may now connect an acoustic signal generator to these wires (e.g.
the "easyCPA³" (A056), available as accessory).
This means you have got a standalone CPA alert even if the plotter is
disconnected / switched off.
Another alarm occurs if an AIS-SART (AIS-Search-and-Rescue-
Transmitter) (e.g. the easyRESCUE, available as accessory) is received.
This emergency transmitter has the effect that the easyTRX2S or other
devices of this product line activate the CPA alarm LED and the CPA
alarm line as a Morse "SOS" several times.
This AIS-SART alert cannot be disabled in contrast to the CPA alert!
