Changing the time

To change the time (e.g. when changing from
GMT to BST):
1. Use the function control dial (8) to access
the "Time" screen.
The current time is shown in the display.
The hour display will flash.
2. Turn the control dial (9) until the current
hour is reached.
3. Press the button (10) to confirm the
setting.
The minute display will flash.
4. Turn the control dial until the current min-
ute is reached.
5. Press the button to confirm the setting.
The current time is set and continues to
run.

Pause/stop

You can use the button
or end a cooking process in any operating
mode:
1. Press the button to pause cooking. The
interior lighting will go out. Depending on
the temperature, the cooling fan contin-
ues to run.
2. Press the button (10) to continue cook-
ing.
3. Press the button twice to end the cook-
ing process.

Start/+30Sec.

By pressing the button
to:
– start the cooking process in any operating
mode.
– quick-start the microwave oven (see chap-
ter „Microwave quick start" on page EN-20).
– extend the cooking time by 30 seconds in
any operating mode.

If the button is not pressed within one min-
ute of selecting an operating mode, the set-
ting will be cancelled. The display will once
again show the time.

Safety locking mechanism

If the safety lock (child lock) is activated, the
symbol lights up on the display. All but-
tons and the control dial can then no longer
be operated.
Notice: The safety lock can be activated only
when the appliance is not in operation.
Activating/deactivating the safety lock
Press and hold the button
3 seconds. A beep will sound and the symbol
appears on or disappears from the dis-
play, accordingly.
Countdown timer/timer
function
When the countdown timer is running, all oth-
er appliance functions are disabled.
Requirement: No cooking process can be
active.
1. Use the function control dial (8) to select
the "Kitchen Timer" function.
