Safety
Do not touch the parts of the hous-
ing!
Always use oven mitts or kitchen
gloves to remove objects from the
cooking chamber.
Food is sometimes heated up une-
venly in the microwave. The contain-
ers should not get as hot as the food
inside. Please therefore ensure to
check the temperature of any food
thoroughly and carefully, especially
for children.
Before heating up baby food, please
remove the screw cap and suction
teat from the feed bottle.
Make absolutely sure to thoroughly
stir or shake baby food after heating,
then check the temperature of the
food itself!
Set the power level and time exactly
in accordance with the packaging in-
structions.
Fire hazard!
Improper handling of the appliance
may result in fi re and damage to prop-
erty.
The appliance is not a built-in appli-
ance. It must not be used in built-in
furniture.
To ensure suffi cient air circulation,
the instructions in chapter „Setting
up the appliance/the correct set-up
location" on page EN-30 absolutely
must be followed.
Only use containers made of micro-
waveable, heat resistant material.
Monitor the microwave when heating
up or cooking food in fl ammable ma-
terials such as plastic or paper con-
tainers. There is a risk of these ignit-
ing.
Do not place any objects (cookery
books, dishcloths etc.) in the cooking
chamber. Accidentally switching on
the microwave could damage or even
ignite these objects.
Do not use the microwave to dry food
or clothing or to heat up heating
pads, slippers, sponges, damp clean-
ing cloths, and the like. This can lead
to injury, ignition or fi re.
Never use the microwave to heat
fl ammable objects or food that con-
tains alcohol.
Never use the microwave for deep-fry-
ing or heating up oil! The oil tempera-
ture cannot be monitored.
In case of a fi re or smoke in the cook-
ing chamber: do not open the door!
Switch off the microwave, pull out the
mains plug from the socket, or isolate
the fuse in your fuse box.
If smoke is emitted, switch off or un-
plug the appliance and keep the door
closed in order to stifl e any fl ames.
Risk of injury!
The appliance is heavy and bulky.
Seek the help of another person dur-
ing transport, when setting up and
positioning.
Never carry the appliance by the
cooking chamber door handle.
Do not use the cooking chamber door
as a step or for support.
