WARNING
Risk of burns!
During use, the microwave and its
touchable parts become very hot.
You must take care to avoid touching
■
the heating elements.
Keep children away from the viewing
■
window! This can get very hot during
operation.
Children aged 8 years or younger
■
must be kept away from the appli-
ance, unless they are under constant
supervision.
Do not touch the housing parts and
■
the viewing window.
When removing dishes from the cook-
■
ing chamber, always use dishcloths or
oven gloves.
Microwave hazard!
Microwaves can be emitted if the door
is insuffi ciently sealed when closed. Un-
der such circumstances, the appliance
may not be used.
In particular, please ensure that the
■
door seals and any sealing surfaces in
contact with other parts are clean.
Do not use the device if the door is
■
broken or damaged, or if the door
lock, its hinges or the door seals show
any signs of damage, or if the door
cannot be closed for any other rea-
son.
If the cooking chamber door or its
■
seals are damaged, do not operate
the cooking appliance until it has
been repaired by a person trained to
do so.
CAUTION
Risk of scalding!
Heating of drinks with microwaves may
result in delayed boiling (superheating).
Care should be taken, therefore, when
handling the container. Hot liquid can
suddenly spray out, for example when
removing it from the microwave.
The contents of baby bottles and jars
■
containing baby food must be agitat-
ed or shaken, and the temperature
must be checked before consumption
to avoid burns.
To avoid a boiling delay, place a plas-
■
tic or glass spoon in the container.
Ensure that the spoon is always at
■
least 2 cm away from the interior
walls of the microwave.
Burn hazard from steam!
Steam is generated through the build
up of heat within the device when
cooking dishes, and can cause scalding
when coming into contact with the skin.
