3.3 Mounting the lifting platform
3.3.1 Positioning the runways
DANGER – Heavy platform weight!
Risk of crushing if lifting platform is not
transported properly.

Only lift and transport the runways using
a forklift truck or crane.
¶
Make sure there are no people or objects in
the area of the lifting platform.
¶
Ensure that body parts are never located
under a raised lifting platform!
1. Use a forklift truck or crane to transport each
runway individually to the required location.
2. Position wooden blocks at the installation location
of the lifting platform.
3. Orientate and set down the runways on the wooden
blocks.
4. Roughly align the runways.

Observe the markings on the packaging:
- Runway 1: Left in the direction of travel.
- Runway 2: Right in the direction of travel.

5. Remove the packaging material.
6. Remove the cables and hoses from the lower front
section of the runway and place on the runway.

Connecting the operating unit

3.4.1 Checking the hydraulic unit
1. Place the operating unit in the desired position.
2. Remove the mounting bolts for the front wall.
3. Tilt the front wall forward slightly and then lift it
upward to remove from the slotted holder.

4. Check the hydraulic unit for mechanical damage.
5. Fill the fluid tank with hydraulic fluid. When the
lifting platform is fully lowered, the fluid level
must be approx. in the center of the level indicator
(red line = minimum value).

Organic hydraulic fluid (e.g. meguin HEES 46).
