3.8 Mounting the components
3.8.1 Mounting the cable duct
1. Position the operating unit at a suitable distance
from the lifting platform.
2. Neatly align the cables and route them to the
operating unit in a straight line.
3. Bind cables together with tie bands.

Store away any excess lengths of cable in the
operating unit.

4. Place the long cover panel over the cables.
5. Slide the end of the second cover panel underneath
the operating unit.
6. Position the black metal components with bore hole
on the attachment points on the base plate.
7. Screw the square cover panels to the base plates
with the metal components acting as a support.

Make sure that all cables are freely positioned in
the cable duct and that they are not jammed at any
point.

3.8.2 Fitting the drive-on ramps
1. Position the adjustable roll-off guard (1) on the
center guide.
2. Position the drive-on ramp (3) at the two outer
guides. See Fig. 16.

3. Slide the support rod through all 7 guides to secure
the set-up.
4. Secure the support rod on both sides with
a retaining ring. See Fig. 17.

5. Fit the second drive-on ramp in a similar manner.

Check: The roll-off guard must be erected when the
runway is raised. The roll-off guard must be lowered
again on completely lowering the runway.
