In caso di macchina dotata di stru-
mento digitale (fig. 7.2), il punto c.
seguente deve essere integrato con
le informazioni descritte al paragrafo
"Uso dello strumento digitale".
c. Inserire la chiave d'accensione nel'inter-
ruttore (1, fig. 7.1) e ruotarla in senso orario
in posizione 1. Sul quadretto segnalatori del
cruscotto controllare che i seguenti segnala-
tori siano accesi (fig. 7.1):
– segnalatore candelette di preriscaldo (14);
– segnalatore freno a mano (15);
– segnalatore pressione olio motore (19).
d. Non appena il segnalatore candelette di
preriscaldo (14, fig. 7.1) si spegne, ruotare la
chiave in senso orario, mantenendola in
posizione 2; a motore avviato, rilasciare la
chiave che ritornerà automaticamente nella
posizione 1.
e. A motore avviato controllare che tutti i
segnalatori rossi (eccetto il segnalatore freno
a mano) siano spenti.
f. In caso di mancato spegnimento di uno
dei segnalatori rossi spegnere il motore,
ricercare ed eliminare la causa dell'inconve-
niente procedendo come indicato di seguito
(fig 7.1):

c. Put the ignition key in the ignition switch
(1, fig. 7.1) and turn it clockwise to position 1.
Check to make sure that the following indica-
tor lights on the instrument panel are lit (fig.
7.1):
– pre-heater plugs (14)
– handbrake (15)
– engine oil pressure (19)
d. As soon as the pre-heater plug indicator
light (14, fig. 7.1) turns off, turn the key
clockwise and hold it in position 2.
When the engine starts, release the key
which will automatically return to position 1.
e. When the engine has started, check to
make sure that all the red indicator lights
(except the handbrake) have gone out.
f. If a red light does not go off (with the
exception of the parking brake light) shut
down the engine, and find and eliminate the
cause of the problem as specified hereafter
(fig. 7.1):
