Diagnostics

The specific diagnostic functions via the Bus system
is not possible with this application. The LEDs on
the Bus housing (see Fig. 7) have the following
meanings:

Test mode

To start the test mode the jumper SW4 must be jumped to the Eprom before the module
will be powered on.
When the dipswitches 1-4 are set to OPEN before the power on time or during the running
test mode first all even outputs are driven. Then all odd outputs are driven before every
eighth output is driven one after the other. This procedure starts agian and again.
When the dipswitch 1is set to ON and the switches 2-4 are set to OPEN before the power
on time or during the running test mode the sensor inputs drive the corresponding outputs.
The first input drives the first output and the second input drives the first and second out-
put and so on.
When the switch 2 is set to ON and the switches 1,3,4 to OPEN all outputs are on. This
feature can be stared like the others.
Warning: It's possible to get into dangerous situations using
the test mode especially if the supply pressure is connected to
the pneumatics.
