General

The AVENTICS bus module control unit 335 520 452 2 allows by using the intelligent con-
tact bridges or by using the VDS I/O modules the serial control of all valve types and can
be coupled to a PLC by means of various bus protocols. Special software in the Bus mas-
ters drives the bus module (valves and sensors) with instructions as to how they can also
be used as parallel input/output cards. The advantage with bus drives is that they do away
with the need for parallel cards and associated cabling. Each bus module can drive up to
128 valve solenoids ( 64 valves) and up to 128 sensors can be connected.
