TROUBLE SHOOTING CHART

In addition to the error messages on the previous page, a few more guidelines for troubleshooting are listed below.
Problem:
No indication on display or push keys do not
respond.
Computer only works as hectare counter.
Incorrect speed, too low at a forward speed above
2 km/h or wheel sensor does not transmit pulses
(lamp on sensor does not light up when the wheel
is turning).

Incorrect application rate

Spreading too much fertiliser may have the following causes.
Spreading mechanism:
- metering plate damaged;
- metering plate is loose;
- zero setting of the metering plates incorrect;
- fine metering used incorrectly.
Sensor:
- too many pulses over 20 m (check number of pulses);
- simulation speed not set to zero.
Actuator:
- machine casing connected while the power was already on the control box (briefly disconnect the control box power);
- actuators not yet calibrated.
Fertiliser:
- too much dust;
- inferior quality.
Programming error:
- too high value entered for kg/ha;
- too high working width programmed;
- number of wheel pulses too low;
- incorrect value calibration test;
- incorrect use over/underapplication.

Possible causes:
Plugs not inserted.
Fuse blown.
Check plug connection between control box and
machine casing.
Check plug connection between wheel sensor and
control box.
Check setting wheel sensor.
Set wheel ring in true.
