Working with the one-sided spreading plate

Confirm the one-sided spreading plate before you start one-sided spreading and switch off the right-hand actuator (LED
goes off) using . Start spreading and make sure no fertiliser ends up beyond the field border.
Switch off the spreading disc that is not spreading fertiliser as described in the spreader manual. That will prevent
pulverisation of the fertiliser.

Measuring the distance covered/setting out tramlines

For setting out tramlines you press
Confirm with . That way you can accurately set out the tramlines over the width of the field. Allow for wheel slip.

Activities after spreading

- Clean the spreader. Never aim a water jet at the machine casing, the control box or the actuators!
- Oil the metering plates and the spreading disc drive shafts.
- If you do not intend to use the control box of the ED 825 for a longer period for other purposes (e.g. as hectare
counter), we recommend that you remove it and store it in a dry and frost-free place.
- Use a contact spray on the contact pins prior to storing the ED 825.
- If there is sand on the contact pins, you can rinse them and then use a contact spray on them.
- Grease the actuator shafts prior to storing.
- Ensure that the actuators are fully retracted on storage. Fill the grease nipple at the end of the actuator after every
working day.
NOTE: Remove the grease that flows out between the block and the actuator, so that it cannot end up on the
spreading discs.
